HR strategist. Creative communicator. Program designer. Brand strategist. DEI leader. Adult educator. Corporate Citizenship leader. Nonprofit founder. Public speaker.

I’m Becky.

My professional life has been lived at the intersection of creative communications, human resources, and nonprofits. Across those disciplines I’ve honed skills in employee experience, adult education, persuasive storytelling, strategic communications, and community engagement. And at every turn, I’ve used those skills to create momentum toward positive change — in my city, state, and within companies.

I’m an adjunct professor of storytelling and communications at Arizona State University within their School of Sustainability, where I teach post-graduate students the fundamentals of effective communication, in the context of effecting change. I lead The Giving Wall – a volunteer-led nonprofit that supports neighbors in financial crises through community fund-raising. And I’m an elected Director for the Henricopolis Soil & Water Conservation District in Henrico, Virginia.

Becky has this magical ability to bring a heartbeat into an organisation. She tilts the scales from one being focused on profit, to one that is balanced with purpose. launch a business.”

— Chris Brook, VP Human Resources – Kuehne+Nagel UK

Becky has - more than anyone else - influenced a belief that doing good for your customers and doing good for the planet are business and moral imperatives. Becky is an organizational culture builder, a patient teacher, and natural born leader.

— Jae Pak, VP Operations - RAINN

I’ve served as the Chief People and Culture Officer for a fast-growth custom merchandise software company that powers giving to non-profit and grassroots social impact campaigns. I was the Global Head of DEI and Corporate Citizenship for the world’s leading logistics and freight forwarding company, building programs and policies for more than 80,000 employees across 110 countries. I’ve led creative communications and marketing for large enterprise and small business – and consulted for Fortune 500s and public sector groups. I proudly hold a Sustainability Certificate from Arizona State University, a M.S. in Community Integrative Nutrition, a B.S. in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University – and I’m a trainer of wild mustangs, re-homed from the sagebrush grasslands of the American West.

I’m also a mom of two young daughters bravely navigating life’s beginnings.
