Field Days: Persuasive Storytelling

  • 2231 Kingsland Road Henrico, VA, 23231 United States (map)

An immersive experience that explores how story shapes trust, belonging, decision-making, and collective action.

Long before slides, data visualizations, and always-on media, humans used story to organize knowledge, transfer insight, and coordinate action. Since then, the brain hasn’t changed very much. We’re still working with the same biology. But the complexity of what we’re trying to communicate has grown immeasurably.

How do we successfully navigate that complexity? Across neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral science, we see a remarkable pattern: the shape and structure of story is still our most powerful instrument to organize information in a way the human brain can encounter and integrate.

In moments of uncertainty, transition, and change, the stories we choose to tell ourselves and each other shape how we move forward together.

Through guided reflection, facilitated conversation, and practical narrative exercises, participants will explore:

  • how stories shape culture, trust, and shared identity

  • the structure and key components of resonant stories, and how to architect yours using them.

  • how to communicate in ways that feel more human and alive

  • the importance of your own story in creating narratives meant to motivate others.

The most impactful learning of your life probably didn’t happen in a classroom.

If you’re ready to step outside the familiar, and into landscapes that teach, animals that tell the truth, and experiences that stay with you long after you leave, then join us at the Tomorrow Company Ranch.
