I’m Becky,
a cross-disciplinary leader with a background in people & culture, marketing, corporate citizenship, DEI, nonprofit leadership, community organizing, adult education, and horse+human development.

Here’s why: When we experience people as inauthentic it threatens connection. “I’m not buying what they’re selling.” When employees and customers experience organizations as inauthentic in their ambitions and disconnected from their values it does the same — building tension and promising dissatisfaction, or worse, disengagement.

As a people-first leader I begin by listening,
and searching for tension within the employee and customer experience through inquiry + through observation. Here’s what I find:

As an organizational strategist I study the strategy and compare its asks and promises with the colleague and customer experience. As a brand & communications leader I get to know the employer and customer brand, and search for incongruent values and messaging misalignments that confuse or contradict.
