Openings, of the Grand Kind
One year ago, we invited the community to walk this land with us and imagine. Many of you joined our little hikes, on a series of chilly Friday evenings and windy Sunday afternoons. We wandered clumsy, handcut paths, and stopped every so often to squint our eyes, all of us together, and try to envision what this place might be — for us, for you, for the community we make together.
The past 12 months have been full of slow, steady, sweaty work. It’s been planting trees, clearing paths, building fences, welcoming animals, and following an idea about what might happen when people and nature are given more room to thrive together.
It's still a work in progress. (We suspect it always will be!) But the horses are home, the arena is soaring, the sheep have made their slender paths, the 300 cedar posts are standing proudly, and it’s time to open the gates.
We’d love for you to join us for an afternoon celebrating the Grand Opening of The Tomorrow Ranch. November 14. 3 - 6pm. There will be live music from an epic bluegrass band, good food, wandering trails, wild horses, warm fires, delicious conversation, and plenty of room for the curious. Full agenda in the registration link below, including nature walks with local artists and ecologists, conversations about natural system design, the history of wild horses, a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local electeds, a sound bath in the forest, and more.
Come wander with friends, and make new ones. Come meet century-old trees, foraging sheep and gentled horses. Come for an afternoon of wisdom, wildness and wonder, as we open The Tomorrow Company Ranch to the community.
